CAT BLAST: "SPRING IS IN THE AIR!"

I don't believe I have written a Cat Blast since the band's crazy St. Patrick's Day weekend and here it is a month later already. Well, the Tribe has opened the 2017 season, so I guess that means Spring is officially here. The band and I are so excited about our Spring/Summer schedule...we will be rockin' from NY to the Lake Erie islands. Below are just some highlights of a few of the cool shows you might want to mark in your calendars!
... In the mean time... Dillon and I are back at the Rush Inn (Lakewood) this Thurs. 4/6. I believe it is something like our tenth year of this first Thursday of the month gig. As always, good food, cheap drinks, solid folks and the dynamic duo going from 8-11.

"Baby Boomer Special" this Friday 4/7 at the Flat Iron. We return to the East bank of the Flats (the old part) from 6-9. Note that we are now playing for 3 hours, instead of 4. The 4 hours seemed to go on forever and was a marathon on the band. Also, it isn't fair to our devoted audience who would stay the entire evening out of respect to the band. Anyway, I am hoping that you all will like the new hours better. Don't forget about the Flat Iron's famous fish fry.

Just a reminder that COH are performing our "God Save The Kinks" show on April 28th 8-11:30 at the awesome G.A.R. Hall in Peninsula. Once again, our adopted Cat, Moss Stanley will be joining us on the keys. We will be churning out a set of Kinks' classics and then return for a "Swamp Poppin" set of button-box driven COH favorites. As you probably know, the charming G.A.R. Hall does not have a large capacity so please get your tickets in advance from the G.A.R. web site. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 day of the show. The weather should be fab by then, so take a drive to beautiful Peninsula and join us at one of the finest musical venues in the area. evening party garment by custom made
